So for those of you who don’t know, NaNoWriMo stands for..well… I’ll let them tell you, shall I?

National Novel Writing Month is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing. Participants begin writing November 1. The goal is to write a 175-page (50,000-word) novel by midnight, November 30.

Although technically it’s an International thing.   I digress.   After my success with Eater of Hearts (more on this soon), I want to try and write something else and having a strictly enforced deadline and structure like NaNoWriMo might just be good for me. Expect updates!

Another edition of Sunday Smut. I know it is not Sunday Morning Smut, but I slept in! I am more dedicated to my strange dreams than my strange readers, sorry. After speaking to some people on Twitter, it has come to my attention that several of you would also like to write something similar but would only be happy to do so anonymously. That is fair enough, so I offer you my blog that you may post something you wish others to read and enjoy, but keeping your secrets safe. Just DM me on Twitter and we can arrange it.

I’d like to dedicate this to a friend and follower. Whilst I would like you all to read this picturing yourself as the ‘you’… she is the ‘you’ in this story for me and one day this will not be just a story, I promise you that. x Read more…

Statement of Intent

I want to be economical here. Try not to waffle on too much. What I want to do with this blog is just to put down the words from inside my head and see how it goes. I wish I had a theme, or a gimmick. I know what I’m like, though – I’ll be slack with posts. One day I might run a huge torrent of information and abuse, fill you with mental images which will sicken, sadden and entertain only to write something completely banal and disappointing another.

I don’t know, I get some inspiration from other bloggers whose words are truly entertaining and I wish to join them – not to emulate them though because they have their style and their niche and they suit it so why should I try to muscle in on their action?

No, I’ll just see how it goes. Join me, won’t you?
